Licensed Denturist

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Denturist to join our dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and fitting removable dental prostheses, ensuring optimal comfort and function for patients. This role requires a professional with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of dental health and aesthetics.

Duties

• Prepare and customize removable dentures, partials, and other prosthetic devices in accordance with patient needs and specifications.
• Conduct patient consultations to assess oral health status and discuss treatment options.
• Take precise impressions, measurements, and bite registrations for accurate prosthesis fabrication.
• Collaborate with dentists and laboratory technicians to ensure quality and timely delivery of dental appliances.
• Educate patients on proper care and maintenance of their dentures or prostheses.
• Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, procedures, and materials used in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures within the laboratory and clinical settings.

Skills

• Valid licensure as a Denturist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
• Experience working in a dental office environment, particularly with dental assisting duties.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and laboratory procedures.
• Laboratory experience related to denture fabrication or similar prosthetic work.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
