Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in exterior siding installation, with a strong background in various construction disciplines. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should be comfortable working with a variety of tools and materials, including hand tools, power tools, and blueprints. A background in related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry is highly desirable. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install various types of siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, metal, and stucco on residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation
  • Measure and cut materials precisely using hand tools and power tools
  • Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely and efficiently
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, or applying insulation as needed to ensure proper adhesion
  • Work collaboratively with other trades such as framing, roofing, plumbing, or masonry teams to coordinate project timelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Assist in the fabrication and customization of siding components when necessary
  • Utilize schematics and technical drawings for precise installation procedures
  • Perform restoration or remodeling tasks related to siding as required

Experience

  • Proven experience in siding installation or related construction fields such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry
  • Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus
  • Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, saws, levels), power tools (nail guns, drills), and fabrication equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Experience with heavy lifting and working on construction sites for extended periods
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and OSHA regulations related to exterior wall systems
  • Prior experience with framing carpentry, metal stud framing, stucco application, or tile laying is advantageous
  • Maintenance Person experience or skills in restoration projects can be beneficial
