Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Account PMO Manager
to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of various end user compute and various IT-related projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage desktop refresh projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Resource Coordination: Collaborate with IT, various IT vendors, and other departments to allocate resources effectively and ensure project milestones are met.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and post-project evaluations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in project management, with at least 5 years in a PMO environment.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with desktop hardware, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing desktop refresh projects in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
