What You'll Be Doing
The Application Development: Platform Lead plays a critical role in the successful delivery and management of applications. Their responsibilities span technical leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight and leading the functional design and development of the Fraud technology delivery tower. The role provides consultation as the application SME to BAs, Designers, QA and operations. The consultation activities span across multiple functions including Detailed Designs, HLDs, BRD & SRD. The app SME provides technical excellence and guidance to a Team of Developers and consultants whilst acting as a bridge to our Fraud business, understanding business needs and translating these to cutting edge technology solutions.

How You'll Succeed
- Technical Leadership: Oversees the design, development, and maintenance of application platforms. Ensures platforms are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Guides architecture decisions and technology selection.
- Delivery Management: Coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver application enhancements and new features. Monitors progress, resolves issues, and ensures delivery meets business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Acts as a primary contact between business units, IT teams, and external vendors. Helps translate business requirements into technical solutions. Communicates progress, risks, and outcomes to executives and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Drives adoption of best practices in DevOps, automation, and agile methodologies. Identifies opportunities for platform optimization and cost reduction. Encourages innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate 5+ years' experience in. designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications with expertise in most of the following: Full stack, RESTful APIs, Databases (Oracle, SQL Server), Cloud (Azure, AWS), ETL (Informatica, SSIS), and Tools (Tools: source control/issue management: Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps). Strong technical background in application development, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms. Knowledge of banking industry standards and regulatory requirements. Leadership and project management experience. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Strong technical background in application Development, Cloud technologies and enterprise platforms. Impact on Application Delivery Ensures reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of banking applications. Aligns technology strategy with business goals. Enhances customer experience through robust and innovative digital solutions.
