Energy Sales Representative – Kognitive Sales Solutions Location: 15 Quarry St. Cochrane, AB Kognitive Sales Solutions is seeking highly motivated, sales-oriented individuals to join our team as Energy Sales Representatives. In this role, you will engage with customers in retail store locations and drive sales for one of North America’s largest energy providers, helping deliver smarter, simpler energy solutions across the region. Compensation: $16.00/hr minimum protection guarantee + uncapped commission Schedule: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available (Full-Time availability preferred).Flexible schedule Monday to Sunday between 10am and 9pm. Responsibilities: Engage directly with potential customers at a dedicated in-store kiosk, initiating meaningful conversations about their energy needs.Understand each customer’s unique needs and recommend tailored energy solutions to meet them effectively.Educate customers on the features and benefits of our client’s energy plans and services, ensuring customers feel informed, supported, and confident in their decision.Guide customers through the enrollment process, successfully closing sales while maintaining a focus on delivering value and building long-term trust.Stay up to date on current promotions, rate changes, industry trends, and regulatory updates to ensure the accuracy and relevance of every interaction.Drive sales, advocacy, and brand awareness for our client's offerings by being a subject matter expert and passionate ambassador for the brand.Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience and foster long-term customer relationships.Find creative and engaging ways to attract customer interest and promote our client’s offerings.Build and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel.Maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with customer information. Keys to success: 1 year or more experience in sales, preferably in energy/utilities or retail sectors (an asset).Comfortable with sales targets and motivated by commission opportunities.Outgoing, personable, and confident, with a knack for engaging customers in a retail setting.Clear communicator with strong listening and interpersonal skills.Professional and polished demeanour to effectively represent premium energy products.High level of integrity and accountability when handling confidential customer information.Comfortable completing a criminal/credit background check.Coachable, growth-oriented, and eager to learn.Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle (an asset).Must be comfortable working in both Southeast and Southwest Calgary locations.
