Job Title: Senior QA Engineer Location: 100% - Remote, Canada Experience: 5+ Years Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a QA Engineer to architect and execute automation solutions for a Fortune 500 product company. This role involves ensuring quality and performance across complex, distributed systems by partnering with cross-functional engineering teams and leveraging modern cloud-based technologies. Key Responsibilities: Architect and enhance automated testing frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and PlaywrightDefine and implement end-to-end test strategies aligned with enterprise software development cyclesLead integration, regression, and system validation for API-driven and web-based platformsDevelop robust test automation using Python and Pytest in CI/CD environmentsAdminister Jenkins pipelines for continuous quality assurance in deployment workflowsManage cloud-based QA infrastructure using AWS servicesConduct root cause analysis and drive resolution on critical quality issues Must-Have Skills: Proficient in designing automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, and PlaywrightStrong command of Python with automation experience using PytestDemonstrated expertise in Jenkins pipeline management and CI/CD principlesHands-on experience with AWS for QA environment provisioning and test execution Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience validating .NET-based enterprise applicationsFamiliarity with API testing tools and contract-based testing strategiesISTQB or AWS certifications are beneficial Certifications: ISTQB or AWS certifications are a plus Apply now, or share your resume with salary expectations at careers@nearsource.ca.
