Position: Building Maintenance Worker Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and repair, as well as a passion for providing exceptional service. Responsibilities: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairsperform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repairmaintain inventory of supplies and equipment and make minor purchases as requiredrespond to requests from residents for minor repairsperform daily inspections on the building systemsprovide general assistance to skilled trade persons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters and plumberscoordinate the preparation of housing units prior to the arrival of new residentsensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishmentmay advertise vacancies, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants and collect rentmay process lease or rental applications, including completion of background and credit checksMay move heavy furniture, equipment and suppliesMay supervise other workers.
