Senior Full-Stack Developer – Node/React Location: 100% Remote, CanadaExperience: 5+ Years Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer specializing in Node.js and React to join our global engineering team. In this role, you will design and deliver secure, scalable web applications, collaborating with software engineers, QA, and designers to drive enterprise-grade solutions for global clients. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, and stable code for enterprise-grade applicationsLead and participate in design and code reviews to ensure scalability and best practicesDevelop estimates, evaluate risks, and identify dependencies to support project planningCollaborate with a distributed engineering team across Toronto and global locations to deliver high-impact solutions Must-Have Skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Full-Stack EngineerProficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with strong client-side web development expertiseHands-on experience with React and Redux frameworks for building scalable UI applicationsExperience developing server-side applications using Node.js and the NPM ecosystemStrong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesProficiency with Git and GitHub for source control and collaborationStrong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable backend designExposure to containerization technologies such as Docker or KubernetesKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploymentsUnderstanding of distributed systems and performance optimization Apply now, or share your resume with salary expectations at careers@nearsource.ca.Thank you for considering a career with us Once you submit your application, our Talent Acquisition team will review your resume thoroughly.
