Child and Youth WorkerFull-time Position in Timmins  (FW Schumacher Live-In Treatment Program)  North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services is presently inviting applications for a Full-time Residential Worker to perform all direct work within its Residential Programs for children and youth. Duties include administering the therapeutic program, monitoring and taking part in activities, completing records, logs and inventories, performing building safety and security checks, and providing counseling to residents.  Job Requirements (Qualifications and Skills):Successful completion of a diploma and/or degree from an accredited College and/or University in Social Services, Human Services, Police Foundations, Paramedic or Registered Practical Nursing (RPN) is preferred. Personal Support Workers (Eight Month or longer) Certificate may be considered. Full-time students presently active in completing their last year of a diploma and/or degree in Social  Services, Human Services or Nursing may be considered. Previous experience working with children and youth. Current First Aid and CPR Certificates. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Bilingualism (English/French) is required. Must have a valid G driver’s license and use of your own vehicle.The job description for this position is available upon request. Please submit your resume by: January 19, 2026.Quote Competition #25-83. Autres responsabilités sont l’administration du programme thérapeutique, le contrôle et la participation aux activités, l’achèvement de rapports, l’inventaire et assurer la sécurité.  Exigences de l’emploi (qualités et compétences requises):  Un diplôme d’un collège ou d’une université accrédité en services sociaux, en services à la personne, en techniques des services policiers, en soins paramédicaux ou en soins infirmiers auxiliaires autorisés (IAA) est préférable. Un certificat de préposé(e) aux services de soutien personnel (huit mois ou plus) peut être considéré.
