The Resource worker is required to assess the suitability of foster and adoptive applicants for children in care, provide standardized training, assess and support Kinship cases and work collaboratively with foster families, Kin Parents, service providers and other professionals to address the service needs of the client. Additional responsibilities include completing assessments utilizing a variety of assessment tools and instruments within the child protection domain, and provide intervention services to children and youth in care and their families.Job Requirements (Qualifications and Skills):A Master’s Degree in Social Work, or a Baccalaureate in Social Work is preferred.
