Job Posting:  Enforcement Security Guard Location: 545 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON Position Type: Full-Time Shift Timings vary 4:00 pm to 00:00 or 23:59 to 8:00 am Compensation: Starting at $19.40/hour (includes applicable premiums)About the Role: LTS Protective Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated  Enforcement Security Guard to lead site-level operations at a high-profile enforcement site. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and dedicated to upholding a safe and professional environment.This leadership role includes overseeing front-line staff, enforcing security protocols, and acting as the primary liaison for emergency response and incident resolution.Key Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day operations of the security team on-siteConduct staff briefings, assign tasks, and monitor performanceEnforce all LTS and site-specific security procedures and policiesConduct regular foot patrols and NFC checkpoint scansOversee access control for restricted areasRespond to incidents, emergencies, and calls for serviceComplete detailed incident reports and daily activity logsConduct on-site inspections and maintain high safety standardsCoordinate shift coverage and deployment plansLiaise with emergency services, law enforcement, and property stakeholdersTrain and mentor junior staff and new hiresMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesRequired Qualifications & Certifications:To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold and maintain the following valid certifications throughout their employment:Ontario Security Guard License (physical or digital copy must be on person while on duty)Standard First Aid & CPR Level CAODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) TrainingUse of Force, Handcuffing, and Baton Certification (Stay Safe program or LTS-approved provider)Smart Serve CertificationMinistry of Labour Health and Safety Awareness TrainingLTS Code of Conduct AcknowledgementCandidates must also:Have a minimum of 2 years of security supervisory experienceBe legally eligible to work in OntarioProvide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (in compliance with current policy)Be physically fit and able to perform patrol and intervention dutiesDemonstrate strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skillsPossess a post-secondary diploma in law enforcement (preferred)Uniform & Equipment Requirements: All employees must wear full LTS-approved tactical uniform while on duty, including:Black Cargo PantsLTS 2-in-1 White Security ShirtLTS Tactical Vest (Level 3A stab-proof body armor)Tactical Duty Belt with inner beltCSA-approved black boots/shoesHandcuffs and Baton (mandatory after Use of Force training)LTS-issued epaulettes and ID badgeReflective safety vestEmployees are responsible for purchasing and maintaining their required uniform and gear. If already owned, personal items may be submitted for approval.Training Expectations:Site Supervisors must complete and maintain the following mandatory annual training:AODAWHMISFirst Aid/CPRSmart ServeResistance Management System Certification (Handcuff & Baton) with Stay safe.Training may be delivered through LTS or approved third-party vendors.
