Quin-Sea Fisheries Limited, a leading processor in the Newfoundland seafood industry, has an opening on its team for a **Production Supervisor** on the Avalon Peninsula.

As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, the supervision of department team leaders and production staff. This role will include optimizing efficiency, maximizing yields, accurate reporting and ensuring the highest quality to our international customers.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, direct and control daily production activities
- Improve productivity of operation
- Prepare work schedules
- Complete daily production reports
- Analyze cost and quality data
- Maintain and improve safe work practices and procedures
- Consult on employee relation matters
- Ensure goals are met for key performance indicators
- Promote and nurture a positive relationship with team members and other managers
- Additional duties as required

**Position Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in factory operation
- A background in Food Science or Industrial Engineering related field
- Strong technical background
- SAP experience would be considered an asset
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Goal oriented and a strong work ethic
