The Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate (DDWA) under general supervision, drives the Company truck or automobile over an established route(s) to deliver products and/or picks up merchandise. Additionally, the DDWA is responsible to aid the Warehouse Inventory Clerk in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, ensuring that warehouse standards are maintained.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Following all safety and health procedures to avoid accidents and hazards
- Valid and clean Ontario G driver’s license
- Experience driving large commercial vehicles (20’ cube truck) would be an asset
- Familiarity with CVOR requirements and trip logs would be an asset
- 1-3 years of driving and warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have a valid forklift license and experience or have the ability to renew a pre-existing one
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software used throughout the organization
- Willing to work overtime to meet customer needs
- Previous experience in construction or related manufacturing industry is an asset
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaborating with other team members
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and people skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Picking up packages, materials or consumables from local supply chain, trade partners and customers
- Delivering packages to suppliers, trade partners and internal/external customers
- Purchasing items per instruction as it pertains to the needs of the business
- Recording and keeping accurate trip logs
- Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles meets all PM schedules
- Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location
- Assist with receiving, unloading, counting and stocking physical inventory in the warehouse
- Open boxes, crates and other containers
- Stack and organize items throughout the shop
- Keep building in clean and orderly condition by way of, sweeping, wiping down racking, cleaning floors, garbage removal, cleaning of bathrooms and other duties as required
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
- Establish and maintain effective communications with all Departments.

**Physical Requirements**
- Physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
- The job can be physically demanding - you may have to stand and or sit for long periods of time.

**Working Conditions**
- The standard work week for a DDWA is 40 hours (8 hours a day, 5 days a week). As with many careers in construction, there are peak periods that will require you to work overtime. The number of additional hours you work each week depends on the workload and schedule and will vary from one job to the next
- As a DDWA, you may work indoors and outdoors, independently or with other construction professionals. If you are called out to an installation, pick-up or delivery, you may have to deal with customers
- As with all careers in the construction industry, safety is the top priority

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
