STRABAG is actively seeking a Construction Quality Manager for our Canadian division where he/she can utilize their extensive knowledge to contribute to the continued success and growth of the organization.

**Job Summary**:
Under the direction of the Quality Director, the Construction Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and monitoring the Quality Control program, as well as managing and communicating the QC program with both internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing and monitoring the Quality Control program according to the project specifications;
- Responsible for the preparation, review, and implementation of the Inspection and Test Plans.
- Implement QC program and follow up on all testing with consultants;
- Chairperson of the weekly QC meetings with subcontractors and third parties;
- Responsible for pre-work reviews and monitoring the quality of work of sub-contractors;
- Responsible for the production of detailed method statements, QC checklists, and corrective action plan in cooperation with the Project Manager and Site Manager;
- Responsible for managing and communicating the QC program with both subcontractors and external consultants and designers/engineers;
- Inform the Project Manager and Site Manager of any issues that need to be communicated with the Owner’s Representative or other parties;
- Participation in weekly project key-team Meetings;
- Assist the Construction Workerager in promoting QC communication throughout the project team;
- Promote Strabag to all associated with the project by demonstrating professional skill and a high standard of fairness and integrity.
- Participate in proposals and tenders for new projects; and
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience in construction of which a minimum of 5 years as a Quality Manager or Quality Control Manager
- Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Technologist or Related diploma with relevant experience
- Successfully completed an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Course.
- In-depth knowledge of the CAIT Manual Requirements, Ontario Provincial Standards Specifications, and MTO standards
- Experience with major construction projects and/or transportation infrastructure projects is considered to be an asset

**Physical Demands**:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.

**Work Environment**:
The employee is generally required to work on a construction site.
