Landscape Maintenance Technician

**Qualifications**
**Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record**
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance or similar field; or have equivalent education and experience.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Must have the ability to safely lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all types of weather.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and other equipment such as hedge trimmers, pruning saws, hedge shears, chippers, hedge trimmers, blowers, etc.

**Responsibilities**:
**Maintain properties including pruning, mowing, edging, planting and mulching, etc. as well as any other items that the company may require.**
- Maintain all landscape equipment including but not limited to snow blowers, leaf blowers, lawn mowers and leaf rakes.
- Perform regular inspections on all landscape equipment for any needed repairs or replacements. Identify any needed repairs or replacements by performing pre-trip inspections before heading out for the job. Ensure that all parts are properly secured on all landscape equipment before heading out for the job. Ensure that all parts are properly secured on all landscape equipment before heading back home from the job site. Ensure that all landscape items are properly secured at the end of each day before leaving home from work.
