**Job Title**: Clinical Research Assistant
**Reports to**: Medical Director and Practice Administrator
**Location**: Research Toronto, 34 Park Road, Toronto, ON, M4W 2N4
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Assist Principal Investigator and Clinical Research Coordinators with day to day running of busy research clinic
Process bloodwork and ship samples according to established policies and procedures
- Electronic data capture entry: meticulously enter data collected from study visits into the appropriate database
- Use a database to assist the Lead Research Coordinator with patient recruitment
- Follow up with Principal Investigators for completion of documentation
- Assist the Lead Research Coordinator in responding to audit findings and implementing approved recommendations.
- Prepare and turnover examination rooms for study coordinators.
- Maintain and order study supplies.
- Assist Coordinators in the facilitation of patient visits.
**Qualifications**:
- GCP / ICH training
- Relevant research experience in a busy private practice or hospital setting
- Willingness to undergo site-specific training
- Phlebotomy training preferred
- Data entry experience preferred
- Experience using electronic medical records (preferably Accuro) and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive attitude, self-starter, good team player
- Strong attention to detail
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
