The Sequel provides group benefits to every employee. Other than group benefits, each employee will receive tips, and be provided a staff meal, coffee, and drinks during their shift. **POSITION**: Looking for skilled cooks to work mornings, mid & closing, Must be able to work Saturday & Sunday. Shifts varies from 8 hours to 10 hours daily. **SCHEDULE**: Part-Time Shifts Shifts are approximately 8 hours+/day **JOB DUTIES**: - Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked. - Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces. - Report to the executive chef and follow instructions. - Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards. - Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers. - Stock inventory and supplies. - Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff. **REQUIREMENT**: - At least 2 year cooking experience, fine dine experience is an asset - Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment - English language skill level: fluent or intermediate level - Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred, if work permit - must be able to work more than 6 months **BENEFITS**: - Staff meal provided for each shift - Staff discount - Only a few minutes walk from Waterfront Station - Closed on some holidays (Christmas, New Year) - CovidSafe certified workplace - Safe, positive environment - Friendly, multicultural team of staff **Schedule**: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift We do Sponsor LMIA, only if you are already in Canada **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
