**Pilates Instructor**

**ABLE Wellness Centre** is a new multidisciplinary(RMT, Acu, Physio, Kin, Chiro, Pilates) clinic in Burnaby Height near North Vancouver and Brentwood area.

We believe that Pilates and Exercise Based Rehabilitation is the best method to giving our client long term success with resolving injuries and removing performance barriers. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Pilates instructor expand our team.

**What We Offer**:

- Flexible days/hours: We open Monday - Sunday 9:00am-8:00pm
- Provide personalized instruction and modifications to accommodate individual needs and goals
- Integrate with other healthcare providers such as Acupuncture, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and RMTs to enhance patient care experience.
- Direct billing to major Insurance companies and ICBC
- Online booking/charting through Jane app
- Able to use gym for further patient care (Squat rack/ Smith machine/ Cable / Pull down)

**Skills**:

- Certified in Pilates
- Experience in teaching pilates 2 or more years required.
- Speaking Korean is an asset

**Summary of Position**:

- Demonstrate exercises and provide body postural assessment
- Promotes the benefits of Pilates and overall health benefits of exercises.
- Planning a Pilates program based on posture and functional ability.
- Teach 1:1 or 2:1 of mixed ability, catering to varying needs of clients and offering progressions as well as modifications if it is necessary.
- Educate clients on proper form, and breathing pattern during exercises
- Make effective Pilates workouts that target specific muscle groups and educate how to activate specific individual muscle groups.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment after using the re:former.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Education and Certification in exercise-instructing field is Recommended
- Bachelor in Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology
- Relevant training and certification in Pilates is required.
- Certified Pilates Instructor with a recognized certification (e.g., Balanced Body, STOTT Pilates)
- Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus
- Strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate clients
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
- Time management skills to effectively plan and schedule classes
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients

**Job Types**: Part time/ Full time Salary: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

**Speaking English/ Korean is an asset**

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed Flexible hours and days

**Experience**:

- Pilates: 2 years (preferred)
