Our Richmond terminal currently has multiple vacancies for **General Labourers** within Container Services.

**Rate of Pay - this is a**unionized position**.**
- ** New Hire Rate**: $28.21 per hour for the first 6 months of employment.
- ** Full Rate**: $30.21 per hour upon completion of 6 months of employment.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for preparing marine containers for cargo shipment.
- Perform washing and painting of containers as needed.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & WORKING CONDITIONS**:
**Skills & Experience**
- Ability to **repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs**.
- ** Forklift experience (16,000 lbs. capacity or greater)** considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**
- ** Shift work scheduled daily** based on **seniority**, including **on-call** and **weekend shifts**.
- ** Industrial location** — includes a mechanics and maintenance shop, warehouse, lumber yard, and container yard.
- ** Indoor and outdoor work environment** with exposure to varying weather conditions, including **heat, cold, rain, and noise.**:

- ** Frequent exposure to heavy equipment** operating on-site.
