**The Role**:

**Responsibilities include**:

- Operation of pilot plant equipment according to written SOPs
- Preparing test samples for external lab analysis, coordinating with external labs, executing quality control, and managing and distributing all data.
- Collection of data from experiments, measurements, and process steps
- Receive and ship supplies, assist to restock laboratory consumables/chemicals, and general laboratory clean-up and maintenance.
- Work with pressurized gases (He, H2, N2, etc.): regulators, tubing, relief valves, etc.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation.
- Complete other administrative duties as directed.

**Qualifications**:

- Technical or trade college degree or equivalent.
- Experience working independently while managing multiple timelines and objectives successfully.
- Ability to do simple electrical, carpentry and plumbing tasks.
- Ability to physically manipulate objects up 20 kg in weight.
- Must be responsible with high organization skills.
- Safety oriented with previous WHIMIS training.
- 1-2 years of lab experience preferred.
- Experience with compressed gasses is an asset.
