First Optometry is a long established, independent Optometry practice providing eye care, prescription and non-prescription eyewear, contact lenses, myopia management, dry eye care, and other related services. We enjoy a loyal clientele We are currently seeking a part-time or full-time key member to join our growing fun-loving and dynamic team.

Qualifications:

- Licensed as an Optician with the College of Opticians of Ontario.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A pleasant and caring manner that will make our patients feel welcome and valued in our practice

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with selecting appropriate eyewear
- Educate patients regarding lens options available
- Take measurements for dispensing eyewear
- Perform minor frame repairs and adjustments
- Order and verify prescriptions
- Help to manage frame and product inventory
- General office duties (answer phone, tidy dispensary, greet patients
