**Purpose of Position**
- Assist the Engineering Services Department with various matters
- Update, revise, and create drawings
- Assist in improving designs
- Assist in researching and developing new products
- Draft reports, policies and procedures

**Major Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support to the Engineering Services Department and Sales Department
- Ensure content related to the drawings are up to date
- Ensure drawings are correct
- Draft reports, policies, and procedures
- Enter technical data
- Maintain and update internal informative planning details
- Conduct inspections when required by the Engineering Services Manager
- Present reports and findings at meetings when required.

**Education**

Civil Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma or equivalent

**Experience**
- Site experience with reinforced concrete or construction preferred

Knowledge and Skills
- Able to read blueprints and dimensions
- Computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, SOLIDWORKS, or equivalent three-dimensional drafting software
- working knowledge of computers to record data in a database and prepare factual and statistical reports
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- A positive, solution-seeking approach
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
