The Opportunity

Deveraux Developments is seeking a Carpenter to join our expanding team in Edmonton. What you bring...
- A minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience
- Experience with wood framing is required
- Concrete experience is an asset
- Zoom Boom or Skid Steer experience is an asset
- Preferred Journeyman Certification or Red Seal Status, or working towards
- A valid Driver’s License
- Willing to work weekends and overtime
- Be physically fit for demanding nature of job
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow direction and work with mínimal supervision
- The ability to direct/train and work alongside a helper or apprentice
- Strong organizational and effective time management skills
- Able to safely operate relevant machinery and equipment
- First Aid qualification is an asset

You will...
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Accurately record and maintain relevant paperwork
- Ensure work meets quality control standards
- Participate in a safe work culture
- Report concerns and safety hazards to supervisor in a timely manner
- Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Deveraux Development
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Construction Site Manager
