Scheduling Coordinator

**Summary**
The Scheduling Coordinator, under the direction of Scheduler is primarily responsible with supporting with the maintenance of the resource production schedule of Priestly Demolition Inc. The incumbent manages the day-to-day production work flow, taking into consideration the long-term requirements. The Coordinator demonstrates effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, eagerness to learn and integrity at all times, with strong conflict management and resolution skills.
**Job Duties**
- Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Develop schedule plan and maintain schedule through weekly updates
- Implement clients’ change orders
- Generate and analyze reports
- Gathering requirements for re-baselining the project
- Maintain master production schedule for varying departments in Primavera, including progress and milestone reporting.
- Maintain schedules and material requirement to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.
- Manage the day-to-day work flow and trafficking for all phases of each project and ensure communication with all departments involved so that deadlines are maintained
- Provide solutions to planned scheduling conflicts immediately
- Provide alternative scheduling for conflicts that arise
- Ensure scheduling deadlines are met
- Work with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes with scheduling
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant post-secondary degree or technical diploma is required, Accounting, Business, Civil Engineering Internships (CEI) or a related field
- 1+ years of related experience in an operational role preferred
- Able to handle multiple tasks with high accuracy and prioritize in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Field and construction planning experience is considered an asset;
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills to assist in working in a fast paced and evolving work environment
- **Strong communication skills**, including ability to present information to a variety of stakeholders internally and externally
- Experience with B2W and ViewPoint/Vista computer programs, considered an asset
- Primavera P6 and MS Project software experiences, considered as asset
**Work Conditions**
- Work requires manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail
- Heavy visual and mental concentration and periods of prolonged sitting are required
- Travel may be required
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- King, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
