Wholesale Manager

Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the Jeff Walker Gallery is a fine-art photography gallery by local artist Jeff Walker. Jeff Walker Collectibles is an extension of the gallery and we’re excited to open a new position to this growing part of the business We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers and building strong relationships with our wholesale partners. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Wholesale Manager to join our team and drive Jeff Walker Collectibles forward.**Responsibilities**:
Develop and execute wholesale strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and onboard new wholesale accounts, nurturing relationships with existing partners.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with wholesale partners to ensure profitability.
- Manage order fulfillment and logistics, ensuring timely delivery to wholesale customers.
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Define product specifications and collaborate with the team to ensure a clear outline for new products.
- Coordinate the sampling process and assess product quality to meet standards.
- Create a comprehensive timeline for product research, sampling, and final product availability.
- Engage in pre-sales prospecting with existing and new accounts.
- Maintain and stock the showroom, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Process sales transactions and handle daily operations of the retail space.
- Assist with unloading, storing, and inventory management of gallery pieces.
- Respond promptly to account holder requests and maintain proactive communication.
- Process, fulfill, and invoice orders in a timely manner.
- Follow up on accounts receivable and manage the payment process.
- Devise innovative strategies to maintain brand visibility in accounts and stores.
- Utilize CRM software (Monday) to track and manage accounts.

**Gallery**
- Daily opening & closing duties
- Creating a welcoming environment & providing excellent customer service at all times
- Comfortably engaging and educating each customer with the stories behind each piece
- Enquire with new galleries and stores to represent the Jeff Walker Gallery

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in wholesale management, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of product management, supplier sourcing, and quality assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A high degree of computer literacy and ability to learn new programs (MAC OS)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive and customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and sales techniques is a plus.
- Availability to attend trade shows and engage in occasional travel.
- Happy to work in a team environment to continue the growth of the business
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Canmore, AB T1W 2B2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 3 years (preferred)
- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
