Role and Responsibilities - (English to follow)_ Fournir de la formation sur les dispositifs d'entraînement au vol Harvard II et Hawk 115 aux élèves-pilotes militaires, en conformité avec le plan de formation du programme d’entraînement en vol de l'OTAN au Canada (NFTC) applicable ainsi que les techniques pédagogiques approuvées par les Forces canadiennes. - La majorité des instructeurs de vol doivent également acquérir une expertise précise liée à l'une des nombreuses matières académiques en ce qui a trait à la formation des pilotes militaires afin de préparer et de présenter des conférences en soutien du programme de formation NFTC. - Pour obtenir une certification à titre d'instructeur, il faut également réussir une évaluation soumise par l'École centrale de vol. - Voici des exemples d'autres tâches pouvant incomber à l'instructeur du système d’entraînement au sol: - Participer à l'élaboration, à la mise en œuvre et à l'entretien des systèmes d'apprentissage multimédias, des modules de formation informatisés, des didacticiels et des scénarios de mission relatifs aux dispositifs d'entraînement en vol. - Rechercher des énoncés de besoins et préparer ceux-ci aux fins de travaux futurs en vue de mettre à niveau ou d'améliorer le programme NFTC. - Examiner les soumissions des entrepreneurs ou les énoncés des travaux en vue de s'assurer qu'ils répondent aux besoins futurs. - Fournir des commentaires d'experts en la matière à tout service au sein de l'organisation du programme NFTC. - Fournir des commentaires d'experts en la matière dans le cadre d'autres initiatives de formation de Formation à l'aviation militaire CAE (FAMC), à l'échelle nationale et internationale, et être prêt à déployer le programme pendant de courtes périodes en vue de soutenir ces activités. COMPÉTENCES ESSENTIELLES - Expérience à titre de pilote d'aéronef militaire à voilure fixe - Expérience comme instructeur de vol militaire - Expérience liée aux simulateurs et aux dispositifs d'entraînement en vol COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES - Instructeur de vol qualifié, de préférence possédant au moins le niveau A2 - Expérience opérationnelle liée aux avions à réaction rapide militaires - Techniques de formation et d'enseignement officielles - Expérience liée à l'autorisation et à la modification de didacticiels multimédias - Connaissance verbale du français comme langue seconde ******** - Provide Simulator instruction on the Harvard II and/or Hawk 115 Flight Training Device (FTD) to military student pilots in accordance with the applicable NFTC Training Plan and Canadian Forces approved instructional techniques. - Successful applicants will be required to develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft manuals, Canadian Forces Approved Flight Manual (CFAFM for the Harvard) or Aircraft Operating Instructions (AOIs for the Hawk), applicable Standard Manoeuvre Manual and NFTC pilot training syllabi. - Upon completion of training, employment is predicated on successful completion of a Department of National Defence Standards Evaluation by 15 Wing Standards in the assigned FTD - Qualification as an Academic instructor also requires evaluation by 15 Wing Standards. Other GBTS Instructor duties may include: - Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of multi-media learning systems, computer based training modules, academic course ware and FTD mission scenarios. - Research and prepare Statements of Requirement for future work to upgrade or enhance NFTC. - Review contractor submissions or Statements of Work to ensure they meet future requirements. - Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) input to any department within the NFTC organization. - Provide SME input to other CMAT training initiatives, domestic and foreign, and be prepared to deploy for periods of short duration in support of these activities. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous Military fixed wing pilot experience. - Previous Military flying instructional experience. - Simulator or FTD experience. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: - Qualified Flying Instructor, preference given to A2 level and above. - Military fast-jet operational experience. - Formal training in Instructional Techniques. - Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional course ware. - Verbal French second language skills.
