Nova Machine Operator

Listening to its customers for four generations, Laiterie Chalifoux's mission is to constantly innovate and be a creator of dairy trends, specializing in the processing of dairy products that it markets across Canada under the Riviera brand.

**MAIN TASKS**
- Handle products according to the production phases;
- May operate machines that can mix, stir, cool, package, cut or perform any step of the manufacturing process;
- Perform adjustments and set-ups of the machine in preparation for the start of production;
- Complete various registers of production;
- Wash equipment according to established processes and methods;
- Comply with the various hygiene measures established;
- Lift weights of less than 10 kg;
- Any other related tasks.

**SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS**
- For reasons of food quality and food safety, work environments may be humid, hot or cold;
- Be available to work overtime;
- Be prepared to be assigned to another position on the same shift;
- The presence of equipment makes the work environment relatively noisy;
- Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and boots as well as earplugs are mandatory in production;
- Wearing equipment such as hairnets and beard nets, uniforms and frequent hand washing are mandatory measures in the factory.

**TRAINING AND SKILLS**
- Have a DES (secondary school diploma) or any combination of equivalent training or experience;
- (3) to (6) months of experience
- Manual dexterity, precision and speed
- Ease of learning and enjoyment of teamwork
- Good shape and physical endurance

**Job conditions**:

- **$20.59** as starting salary, to be discussed according to experience.
- Increase after 3-month probation.
- Bonus of **$0.50** per hour between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.
- Permanent position
- Shift from **EVENING **(3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) Monday to Friday
