**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
**Requirements**:
- Completion of a Health Care Aide program or equivalent training is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and moving patients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
