We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated driver with valid DZ or AZ license and clean driver and CVOR abstracts, to fill the position of Salt Truck Driver. This is a SEASONAL ON CALL position.

Description:
This position primarily involves operating a class DZ ( single axle or tandem axle) salt truck on an on-call/as-needed basis anytime snow or ice accumulates during the winter months. Our team services commercial/industrial properties in Mississauga, Vaughan, and Bolton.

This is a seasonal position, however a full-time position is available which would include year-round Roll off/Hooklift truck work.

Responsibilities include:

- Complete daily vehicle pre and post-trip inspections.
- Complete required paperwork as required (work orders, run sheet, etc).
- Must have great communication and customer service skills.
- Applicants must be physically able to climb in/out of truck multiple times throughout the shift, tarp bins and open/close doors when dumping.
- Working independently in cold and challenging conditions, mostly overnight.
- Previous experience with salting/snow removal and/or operation of front end loader is an asset.

Must be available 24/7 between December 1 - March 31.

Yard is located in Bolton.

We offer Standby/Bonus pay plus competitive hourly wages with guaranteed hours. Pay is based on experience and demonstrated abilities.

**Salary**: $29.00-$39.00 per hour
