**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support individuals with disabilities by implementing personalized care plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or support roles is preferred, especially in nursing homes or hospice care settings.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and meal preparation techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
