Qc Technician

**Essential Duties / Responsibilities**:

- Develops sampling plans for held product files.
- Tests samples from held product files, schedules management review, documents results and enters dispositions into WMS system.
- Performs Main Line Grader, Specialty Line Grader and Checkweigher duties for dinner breaks (on Days).
- Replaces QC Staff for scheduled absences (Vacations, Training, Gauge R&R Testing).
- Completes all required documentation (WMS, Check sheets, SPC Data entry).
- Complies with all McCain QC procedures, safety policies, and regulations.
- Trained to operate all of the relevant equipment in the Q.C. Lab.
- Train and perform micro testing as required and perform necessary inspections
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)**
- Previous Quality Control experience is required.
- Experience with WMS is required.
- Ability to work on a rotating shift basis when required.
- Must have strong mathematical skills. May be required to pass a timed, written math and comprehension test.
- Physically capable of performing all required duties including some lifting up to 40lbs.
- Familiar with the safe handling of chemicals in accordance with WHMIS.
- Must have strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Must maintain good working relationship with Supervision and coworkers.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Must have proven history of safe work habits.
- Successful completion of a 90-day familiarization period.
