**Position**:Warehouse Associate (F/T Days)
**Shift/Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM**
**Location**:#153-12757 Vulcan Way, Richmond, B.C.
**Start Date**: Immediate

**Responsibilities**:
- Picks customer orders in a warehouse environment and completes picking in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Operates a Walkie Rider/Electric Pallet Jack to pick, secure, and load orders. Inspects assigned Pallet Jack for safety issues.
- Build stable and well-secured pallets.
- Label pallets and number the pallets correctly to ensure proper put-away or delivery.
- Place each completed pallets into cooler, loading area and/or truck as required.
- Assist safely with loading trucks.
- Turns on single and dual temp trailers refrigerator units at the proper times.
- Loads trucks in sequence based on delivery schedule and routing using at least 5 load bars per route to ensure a secure delivery.
- Distributes finished load sheets to the inside of the trailer, to the dispatcher, and to the driver.
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping, removing trash as needed.
- Sort, sticker and repack individual pieces appropriately.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; wear appropriate PPE.
- Reports to lead, supervisor, or manager if there is not enough work on the loading dock.
- Removes debris and empty pallets from the dock upon completion of loading.
- Reports any discrepancies in pallet counts, missing repack, or unsound pallets to the lead, supervisor, or manager.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Performs all other job duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
**Certification(s)**:
- Pallet Jack/Walkie Rider certified considered an asset.
**Experience (required and/or preferred)**:
- At least one (1) year previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Able to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time in a cool, damp environment.
- Certified to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jack/walkie rider.
- Able to read and correctly interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- High regard for safety.
- Able to safely operate pallet jacks/walkie rider.
- Criminal Background Check
