TownePlace Suites by Marriott Toronto Oakville is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Worker / Houseperson. The Maintenance Worker/Houseperson plays a dual role in supporting both the upkeep and cleanliness of the Hotel. This position ensures all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, enhancing guest satisfaction and overall operational efficiency.

**Activities**:
The Maintenance Worker/Houseperson plays a dual role in supporting both the upkeep and cleanliness of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Toronto Oakville. This position ensures all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, enhancing guest satisfaction and overall operational efficiency.

**Maintenance Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms, common areas, and building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance.
- Inspect property regularly and report or resolve issues (e.g., lighting, leaks, damages).
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist with pool, grounds, and exterior upkeep as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

**Houseperson Duties**:

- Maintain cleanliness in public areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms.
- Assist housekeeping with linen delivery, trash removal, and supply restocking.
- Set up or break down meeting rooms and common areas as required.
- Deliver guest amenities or items upon request.
- Assist in deep-cleaning projects or room turnovers as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in general maintenance or housekeeping (hotel experience a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform physical labor.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

**Work Environment**:

- Work may be indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Requires use of ladders, cleaning chemicals, and maintenance tools.
