Reporting to the Academic Program Manager, the Program Manager uses their experience working in the correctional sector combined with related post-secondary leadership experience to work collaboratively with our stakeholders, faculty, staff, and learners and assist faculty, staff, and student supports for success.

**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
- Champion and act as a spokesperson for correctional programming.
- Help lead program development to ensure the program is relevant, current, and sustainable.
- Provide general support for faculty and staff in the program area.
- Participate in projects; help manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Promote the benefits of and advocate for the program's needs, including participation in developing operational plans.
- Be responsive to students to promote a learner-centered environment, including using sound adult educational strategies, monitoring student academic performance, and advising students as needed.
- Assist with building a positive learner experience in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Promote and participate in teaching excellence and advocate for the needs of learners.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- B.Ed. degree required, some education in criminology or psychology recommended.
- Leadership and management/supervisory experience in a post-secondary educational institution.
- Significant related experience in instructional, program, and curriculum development.
- Experience working in a correctional facility.
- Considerable related professional and/or scholarly experience in a faculty role specializing in correctional education.
- Experience in post-secondary teaching and/or administration is strongly preferred.
- Advanced level of communication skills and expertise when interacting with students.
- Substantial experience working with Faculty members in a union environment.

**SALARY**: $87,095 - $108,899 annually, reflective upon what you bring, AKA your education and experience. This is a fulltime permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
