Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, discover the Victorian Hotel-a newly renovated boutique-style property housed in a beautiful brick Victorian-era building dating back to 1898.

Once inside, guests are transported to the 21st century with 42 beautifully appointed guest rooms designed to create a truly alternative hotel experience.

The location is at the nexus of 3 distinct neighborhoods which include historic Gastown, Yaletown and cruiseship terminal, convention centre are all within walking distance. The shopping district of Robson Street and the entertainment sector of Granville are also just minutes away. Ideally situated within walking distance to Granville, Stadium-Chinatown, and Waterfront SkyTrain stations.

**The Victorian**, a 42 room lifestyle boutique hotel property is actively looking for an energetic, individual to join our team as a part time Night Auditor.

The Night Auditor is responsible for the full functioning of the hotel on the overnight shift. This will include assisting late arrivals and any guest requests that may arise. The position is also responsible for cash handling and some basic accounting procedures. A successful night auditor will be comfortable operating computers, health and safety and with guest interactions.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensures that all guests are made to feel welcome upon arrival and departure. Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Knowledgeably answer inquiries on hotel services, as well as attractions and services available in the area.
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and departmental standards.
- Processes check-ins and check-outs ensuring accuracy with reservations and payment processes.
- Assisting the guests with luggage storage.
- Managing room reservations, cancellations, and payments.
- Ensures that the Front Desk and lobby are clean and organized.
- Monitoring security cameras and promptly reporting any suspicious activity.
- Ensures that any special billing instructions are noted and passed on to accounting/front desk promptly and accurately.

**Qualifications**
- Prior Front Desk experience preferred.
- Experience using a hotel reservation/booking systems.
- Flexible to work on Weekends as a fixed schedule
- Demonstrated strong leadership, team, and communication skills are essential.
- Highly detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills, and able to handle competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of duties and show initiative.

The position available is for 4 /5 days week from 11 pm - 7 am. (Weekends/ Weekdays as needed) from February 23 - March 25 and after that it will be a casual position which will include all the shifts 7 AM -3 PM, 10 AM - 6 PM, 3 PM -11 PM, 11 PM - 7 AM
