Reporting to the Director, Retail Sales Loblaw, Walmart and Costco the position of Retail Analyst will provide administrative and analytical support for the Loblaw and Walmart teams to improve process efficiency and overall sales effectiveness. The incumbent will also play an integral role in coordinating the many facets of the business with Supply Chain and Finance.

This position can be based out of the Toronto Sales office located in downtown Toronto or at our Florenceville Headquarters.

Role duration will be temporary, approximately 12 months, to cover a maternity leave.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Perform administrative tasks and data entry related to volume and liability forecast in the Promotional Planning System (PROMAX)
- Assist the Walmart and Loblaw teams with external and internal demand planning meetings, leveraging customer tools (Portal, LDIA, Retail Link) to:

- Make the monthly volume forecast calls
- Identify inventory level issues and recommend POs
- Maintain, optimize and develop standard reports to monitor the businesses including but not limited to:

- Promotional Planning Tools (LCL Planner)
- On orders for timing, gaps to expectations
- Promotional Activity
- Analyze and monitor scorecards using Customer specific Data Tools (eg. LDIA, Retail link)
- Analyze/optimize results for various activities: promotional, advertisement, demos, etc.
- Assist Customer Development Manager as required on deduction process, forms, sample requests, etc.
- Assume a super-user role for PROMAX
- Ad Hoc requests

**Qualifications**
- University Degree, Commerce or Equivalent experience
- Strong analytical Background
- Previous work experience in packaged goods industry preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
