**Job Summary**
As a Parts Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and the automotive parts they need. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance will empower you to provide exceptional service while managing inventory and fulfilling orders. With your strong communication skills and a knack for negotiation, you will ensure that our customers leave satisfied and equipped with the right parts for their vehicles. **What you’ll do**
- Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts for their needs
- Manage inventory control and organization to ensure optimal stock levels
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for efficient order fulfillment
- Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette
- Process sales transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Collaborate with team members to enhance retail sales strategies and marketing initiatives
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized parts department
- Handle cash transactions with precision while adhering to cash handling protocols

**Basic qualifications**
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and retail math

**Preferred qualifications**
- Experience in automotive repair or service, preferably within a dealership environment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing customer interactions
- Familiarity with cashiering and stocking procedures
