We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the Vicinity Motor Corp. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe, secure, and efficient manner in compliance will all local Health and Safety regulations and company policies. You will be the primary point of contact for the warehouse team.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Procurement and Supply Chain.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and train the warehouse team to ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse functions (this includes shipping, receiving, and putting away of parts).
- Oversee warehouse activities, plan and prioritize activities for employees accordingly.
- Assign work, monitor progress and re-assign personnel based on customer priorities.
- Ensure all inventory is received and stored in a safe and economical manner while ensuring all proper paperwork is completed and retained based on the organizations document retention policy.
- Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner while adhering to shipping schedules and customer compliance requirements.
- Maintains accurate inventory levels in the system including inventory adjustments and daily cycle counts.
- Review and maintain proper forklift certifications for all forklift operators.
- Supervise and schedule the maintenance of all material handling equipment in use in the warehouse.
- Recommend purchases of new warehouse equipment, ensuring all safety regulations are met.
- Safeguard and maintain all warehouse assets.
- Understand and ensure all warehouse staff follow all safety regulations.
- Resolve all shipping complaints and receiving disputes quickly and efficiently
- Review and update warehouse process and policies to ensure efficient operations.
- Provides support, coaching and supervision to the 2 full-time shipping/receiving staff
- Perform other tasks as needed (warehouse coverage) or requested by the Senior Manager, Procurement and Supply Chain.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in warehousing or parts technician is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and warehousing.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
- Experience managing a team is required.
- Holds a valid forklift license or able to obtain one.
- Holds a valid level 1 occupational first aid certificate or able to obtain one.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and using an ERP system.
- Health and safety conscious, leads by example, loves detail and organization, and empowers employees to provide exceptional and timely service.
