Edmonton, Canada Burckhardt Compression (Canada) Ltd. Full time

Reports to the Repair & Manufacturing Manager, this position will be based in Edmonton, AB and will be responsible for supporting the Parts and Inventory departments in Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
- Maintain professional, timely, and accurate communication with customers.
- Prioritize activities to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Accurately fulfill customer orders in accordance with internal processes.
- Comply with all OH&S and Quality program requirements.
- Order fulfillment & Inventory Management.
- Customer Support and Logistics Coordination.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education**:

- Journeyman Parts Technician.

**Skills/Qualifications**:
These skills are required:

- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or customer service.
- Understanding of RFIs and RFQs.
- Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills an ability to adjust to various personality types.
- Proven attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Must be a team player who is willing to wear many hats and provide help where needed.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong listening and clarification skills.
- Analytical skills to break down complex issues and solve problems.
- Maintains composure in dealing with difficult situations; demonstrates positive customer service attitude.
- Proficient in English.

These skills are considered an asset:

- Previous experience with rotating equipment is an asset.
- Strong technical knowledge of compressors and components such as valves, packings etc. Is desired.
- Previous quoting experience required. Component repair and supply quoting experience would be an asset.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel experience with SAP would be an asset.
- Manufacturing or field experience is an asset.
