Janitor

Responsibilities:

- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including windows and furniture
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways and lobbies
- Perform buffing and floor maintenance tasks as needed
- Assist with porter duties, including moving furniture and equipment
- Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is beneficial
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, is desired
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.36-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
