Dog Trainer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate certified Dog Trainer to join our team. As a Dog Trainer, you will be responsible for providing training and behavior modification services to dogs and their owners. Your expertise in canine behavior and training techniques will help create well-behaved and happy dogs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct private and group training sessions for dogs of all ages and breeds and their owners, at our facility and in the clients homes
- Assess the behavior and temperament of dogs to develop personalized training plans
- Teach basic obedience commands, leash walking, and socialization skills
- Address behavioral issues such as aggression, separation anxiety, and fearfulness
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on effective training techniques
- Monitor the progress of dogs during training sessions and adjust methods as needed
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, training sessions, and progress reports

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Dog Trainer is required
- Strong knowledge of canine behavior, training methods, and positive reinforcement techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively teach and explain concepts to dog owners
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for dogs
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely
- Customer service skills to provide exceptional service to clients
- Physical ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
