The position as two aspects
1. Local:

- Purchase Management - planning, forecasting, source evaluation, negotiation, implementation and commodity investigation. Strategies and actions defined together with Corporate Purchasing, focused on the activities within location/Plant with annual purchase spend of approx. 3 million euro.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and alternatives, build relevant strategy together with Corporate Purchasing while ensuring agreements of all parties (Plants, Engineering, etc.).
- Supplier Management - maintenance of service contracts and suppliers. Control of information flow to suppliers and negotiations on all issues together with Corporate Purchasing and all parties.
- Provide support for existing tools and best practices, as well as continuous education of Purchasing Policies and Procedures to internal stakeholders.
- Customer satisfaction responsibilities including: representing indirect purchasing during plant visits and/or home plant environment, as well as developing and implementing actions to support individual plant locations

2. Corporate
- Negotiate contracts with supplier and ensure conditions are met in coordination with I-PUR/Corporate Purchasing
- Implement and comply with I-PUR/Corporate and local KPIs
- Ask for and communicate technical specs to supplier and ensure specs are met
- Negotiates with suppliers minimum quantities and lead times in coordination with I-PUR/ Corporate Purchasing.
- Monitors material pricing in contact with I-PUR/Corporate Purchasing.
- Participates in the budget calculations.
- Participates and promotes bids along with I-PUR/Corporate Purchasing
- Compliance with Corporate Purchasing policies.
- Working Capital Improvement, DPOs and AP project.
- Purchasing Tools and reporting
- Work closely with facility managers to optimize spend across locations while meeting local deadlines
- Manages and controls contractual process
- Initiates and drives demand pooling across facility categories to ensure optimum use of purchasing power
- Receives requests for facility services (maintenance and repair, dunnage/tote washing, machinery repair, etc.)
- Support and Coordinate NPM activities for IPUR in the North America region in close cooperation with Corporate Purchasing
- Create strategy for it's category and local while supporting Region, category and Business Areas vision.
