Role Overview
As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager of our Growth Team, you will be the driving force behind our referral program. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that maximize customer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue throughout the entire customer journey. This position requires a strong understanding of customer behaviour, as well as the ability to leverage marketing automation tools to create personalized experiences at scale. This role is not just about execution; you'll own the strategy, implementation, and optimization of campaigns that directly impact Athena's growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for client lifetime partnerships:
- Fostering strong relationships and maintaining regular communication to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Ongoing Strategic Growth
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive ongoing growth and expansion within the partnership portfolio, identifying new opportunities, markets, and industries to tap into.
- Manage Client Churn and Retention
- Implement effective strategies to handle churn and save at-risk clients, proactively addressing concerns, analyzing root causes, and implementing tailored retention initiatives to preserve and enhance client relationships.
- Growth and Expansion
- Drive the growth of the client base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating leads, and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Client Engagement through Delegation and Coaching
- Implement effective delegation strategies to increase client engagement and satisfaction.

Relevant Experience Required
- 5+ years in lifecycle marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation tools, such as Hubspot.
- Experience with SMS marketing.
- Experience in managing referral programs or similar client acquisition/retention initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in fostering and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Background in sales, marketing, or business development, particularly within the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with data analysis and using insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Experience in leading teams and implementing change initiatives.
Educational and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification in Project Management or Change Management would be advantageous.
