Swimming pool installers and laborers

**D&R Pools** is a family owned pool company servicing the greater Ottawa Region for over 10 years. We specialize in residential inground pool installations. In order to continue offering high quality work and great services to all of our customers, we are expanding our team.

The pool technician/installer will be reporting to our Foreman and will be responsible for the day to day services, repairs and pool installations. They should have the ability to work as part of a team or independently. We are looking for motivated individuals willing to grow within our company.

**Job requirements**:

- Valid driver's license (responsible to get to construction site)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem solving, organizational skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to perform physical work
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

**Responsibilities**:
**Provide services and repairs to existing pools including**:

- Pool openings
- Pool Closing
- Service calls
- Liner changes
- Safety cover installation
- plumbing
- replacement of components, etc.

**Responsible for new pool installations (Start to Finish)**:

- Assist during digs
- Wall construction
- Plumbing
- Grouting/working with wet concrete
- Carpentry, etc.

**Interact professionally with our customer on site**

**Troubleshooting and implementing solution**

**Assets**:

- Experience in the pool industry (service & installation)
- Driving a trailer
- knowledge of tools
- Operate a Skid Steer
- Operate a Mini excavator
- Operate a track dumper, if required
- Great attitude and a strong will to learn.

**Education**:

- High School Diploma

This job is a full time seasonal opportunity to work with a great team outdoors. We offer competitive pay based on experience and training.

Our season normally runs from End of March to mid November

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: $19.00-$33.00 per hour
