**Job Summary**

The Delivery Driver provides prescription and home health care product delivery services for the store. The Delivery Driver also ensures that the delivery vehicle is kept clean, maintained and fuelled.

**Competencies**
- Knowledge:_
- A familiarity with the streets and locations of Comox Valley is an asset.
- Skills:_
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to work well with seniors
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
- A clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift up to 50lb

**Typical Duties and Responsibilities**
- Warmly welcome patients to the pharmacy
- Answer and triage phone calls
- Maintenance of the confidentiality of patient information
- Maintenance of the security of items for delivery
- Organize daily routes to ensure the most efficient delivery schedule
- Ensure items for delivery have been signed out and charged out as required
- Delivery of items and collection of signatures as required
- Collection of payment as needed
- Cleaning and maintenance of the delivery vehicle
- Ensuring scheduled maintenance of the delivery vehicle
- Ensuring that the delivery vehicle is fuelled
- Administrative duties as required
- Other duties as required by the Pharmacy Manager

**Education**
- High school diploma an asset

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Available to work weekdays as scheduled
