To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bookkeeper who is fluent in Cantonese AND Mandarin to join our team.

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented bookkeeper with a passion for numbers? Do you have an accounting background? Do you possess excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and Mandarin? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Contact clients with overdue balances to collect payment
- Conduct regular reconciliations of expenses and post them into QuickBooks
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Record and input daily credit card transaction totals into designated financial spreadsheets
- Prepare monthly tax reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the company.
- Communicate with clients and vendors in both Cantonese and Mandarin to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve any financial inquiries.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience working with QuickBooks Online is an asset but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping tasks.
- Fluency in both Cantonese and Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients and vendors.
- An accounting degree or relevant certification is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, displaying strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and reporting requirements is considered an asset
- Highly trustworthy and able to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
