We are seeking energetic, motivated individuals to join our landscape dept. team this upcoming spring. Our yard team is responsible for the operation of the loader to load customers, contractors, and delivery trucks. They will also be accountable for offloading product orders, communicating with the landscape supply sales team and maintaining outdoor inventory in a clean, organized and proper manner. Interested applicants should have a positive attitude and enjoy being a part of a greater ‘family-run’ team environment.

Saskatoon Landscape & Garden Centre has relocated to 7 Glazier Rd (corner of Hwy 16 / Boychuk Dr, beside Greenbryre) and will be operating a landscape department and greenhouse department this upcoming spring. We are open 7 days a week starting mid-April through the end of September.

**Open Positions**:
1 full-time (32-40 hrs. / week). Wage is pending experience & Knowledge and will be discussed in interview process.

This position is seasonal with a start date occurring in Mar/Apr and flexible end dates between September/October. Shifts are available 7 days a week with a rotation of day, evening, weekend shifts. Opportunities to help during snow removal season and return in subsequent years are possible.

**Job Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Be a team leader for the yard in inventory, organization and work environment.
- Operate mini loader with bucket and pallet forks to load customers.
- Unload inventory shipments.
- Communicate with Landscape Supply Manager or Shift Supervisor on duty.
- Become or are familiar with landscape products.
- Build brick or bagged orders for customers during quiet time.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and contractors.
- Clean and tidy appearance.
- Ensure inventory is presented in a clean, and updated manner.
- Opening / closing duties completed daily.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Equipment experience is necessary (forklift, skid steer, loader is all equivalent).
- Motivation and Willingness to Learn about product.
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- Problem-Solving Ability
- Reliable Team Player
- Effective Communication
- Able to lift 75 lbs. or more.
- Must have reliable transportation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: From $1.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
