Are you passionate about animal care and hands-on farm work? We’re looking for a **Nursery Barn Technician** to join our team
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Wash and sanitize rooms for weaning
- Feed piglets according to proper diets
- Monitor and ensure the health and well-being of animals
- Perform required vaccinations and necessary treatments
- Sort and size piglets at weaning
- Conduct minor maintenance (e.g., fixing leaky water drinkers)
- Assist in moving pigs from nursery to finisher barns
- Manage animal welfare and maintain accurate records as instructed
**What We’re Looking For**:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a farm setting and handle physical tasks
- Experience with piglets is an asset but not required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
