Café Associates are hybrid individuals working in both the Starbucks and Smoothie Bar. Café Associates are coffee and tea enthusiasts who relish in working with people and consistently provide a five star customer service experience to all members and guests. They have a knack for establishing rapport, building relationships and brewing a great cup of java_**
**_ They spread joy and optimism to our members and guests while preparing handcrafted beverages. They promote cafe services and consistently improve member retention by determining guests coffee interests and anticipating their needs, creating genuine moments of connection and exceeding expectations day in and day out. These cheerful customer service masters are passionate about working with people. They get a kick out of making someone’s day a little brighter, whether it be a member, guest or colleague. They are team focused and customer service conscious. _**
**_These multi-taskers are able to jump from preparing handcrafted hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, smoothies, or teas to working the food line, preparing muffins, bagels etc. to working the cash register, all with seamless transition. They also take great pride in maintaining white glove standards when it comes to the cleanliness of the cafe areas and front lobby. They have accurate and detailed knowledge of all beverages and food items served. They are able to think on their feet and effectively use their resources. If they don’t know the answer, they’ll dig until they find it._**

**Qualifications**:
- At least 1+ year in the food and beverage industry
- 2+ years in the customer service industry
- Experienced and comfortable with working busy shifts
- Friendly, outgoing and dedicated to outstanding customer service
- Tidy and self-disciplined
- Detailed-oriented and passionate about product quality
- Post-secondary education relating to the hospitality, health and fitness industry and additional certifications or workshops relating to customer service are an ass
