The pre-sales technician plays a key role in the sales process by providing technical support and serving as a liaison between the sales teams and clients. They are responsible for product demonstrations, assessing client needs, and preparing tailored technical solutions before the sale is finalized.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Client Needs Analysis**:

- Communicate with clients to understand their technical needs.
- Conduct technical evaluations to identify the best solutions based on the client’s specifications.
- **Preparation of Technical Proposals**:

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop clear and detailed technical proposals, including specifications, recommendations, and solutions tailored to the client’s needs.
- Prepare technical documents and analysis reports.
- **Presentations and Training**:

- Present products and services in detail, emphasizing their technical features, benefits, and added value for the client.
- Present the technical analysis report to the client.
- **Sales Team Support**:

- Provide technical support to the sales team during the negotiation process with clients.
- Answer clients’ technical questions and resolve any issues that may arise before the sale.
- Provide ongoing technical support to clients throughout the product development process.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Presentation and product demonstration skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

**Profile Sought**:

- Hold a DEC in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a technical environment.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset in a diverse client environment.
- Excellent proficiency in 3D design software.
